Do NOT COME HERE FOR A RELAXER. MY HAIR WAS OVER PROCESSED. Had to chop most of it off and start over. THE stylist left the relaxer in my hair for almost double the time allowed, and straight after the relaxer, I started to see so much breakage in my hair. NEVER HAD an issue with getting a protein treatment done, and for a long time I haven’t NEVER seen this much damage in MY HAIR. NOT TO MENTION I HAD TO TELL THE LADY TO WASH MY HAIR AFTER I RELEASED SHE WANTED TO KEEP IT IN LONGER.

Exceptional service! Went to do my hair (wash and curl define) last week Saturday at Ama’s hair salon, it was fully booked couldn’t get a booking online but somehow just before the day ended they managed to fit me in even tho it was very busy! Their staff are so lovely and so welcoming, they literally check on you throughout whilst getting hair done, not just me only but also other clients too! I really loved how their staff work as a team and still manage to look after each other even when it’s busy. Ama’s hair salon’s service went beyond my expectations as first time trial, they are gentle with hair, they compliment your natural hair, they take time and do your hair amazingly and they offer different hair services including hair/scalp consultation services. Ama’s hair salon’s work of art is top tier, I highly recommend! Can’t wait to go back🤩

I booked my appointment online for 1:15 PM, and the professionalism started the moment I arrived—a staff member actually opened the door for me as I approached. I was greeted immediately, and the receptionist efficiently confirmed my details for my silk press and trim. While I waited, I was ushered to a seat and offered a beverage and I opted for cold water, which was a nice touch. The process moved like clockwork: after my water, I was taken to the sink where another staff member was ready for me. The wash was thorough and the massage that followed was excellent. Even while I was under the steamer for my treatment, I was offered another beverage. When it came time for the styling, a different stylist took over for the blow-dry and silk press. I really appreciated that she took her time and handled my short, natural hair with care. Honestly, this business is such a well-run company. It’s a far cry from the typical Afro-Caribbean salons I’ve visited in the past, where you’re stuck sitting for hours on end before anyone even looks at you. Kudos to the team at Ama’s keep up the fantastic work!

I had a trim and blow dry and I was so happy with the results! The staff were very friendly and attentive. I want to give a special thank you to Marcos who did an absolutely splendid job! He really took his time and took extra care of my hair. The photos speak for themselves. Perfect style session

Let me tell you! This is THE best hair dressing experience I've ever had. I felt safe and seen. Polite and friendly staff .very efficient . Sister Mary took her time and was meticulous is styling my hair. Emmanuel who barbed my hair ,listened to my request. I was a walk in and just happened to get a rare spot.
