a month agoBEWARE!! Expired foods!!! HEALTH AND SAFETY ISSUE In the past on many occasions, i had bought dried foods like crisps (especially ghost pops) and etc, from them only to find out that this company had sold me expired goods. It happened one too many times so i stopped buying the dried foods and let it slide. But now given the reaction my body had to this biltong and its VERY VERY off taste, i can only assume they have resulted to selling expired biltong and as it has no pack they can pass it off as "in date" just to sell it. I bought chilli chutney biltong today knowing the taste as I bought it for several years. Today the biltong tasted very different and stale. I assumed that it was the wrong flavor given to me so i TRAVELLED back to the store only to encounter the flavors were all stale and horrible. The worst part is after i ate the biltong i bought, I started to have stomach ache which has lasted until now. I mentioned this to the server and she looked at me like im speaking a different language and had 3 heads. She was very unhelpful and had 0 customer service skills outside of taking payments and did not even attempt to offer a solution. Just to look at me. I ended up walking out annoyed, SICK , with awful inedible food and wasted money. This is a health and safety issue savanna and if my stomach doesnt calm down, i have half a mind to report you because its come to a point where your products are doing damage. Im quite disappointed because i loved your store but Im side eyeing it now.

a month agoInedible… We bought some Borewors recently from The Savanna, Victoria. It was so full of gristle that we ended up throwing it in the bin, I hate wasting food but this was just awful.
